Windows XP Professional is the latest version of the Windows operating system. The x64 Edition is designed to work with 64-bit processors from AMD and Intel that support the x64 extensions to the x86 architecture.

This is an upgrade product. To install this operating system, you must have a valid license that is not in use on another computer for one of these operating systems: Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows NT Workstation 4.0, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows XP Home Edition.

The actual installation of Windows XP Professional x64 Edition is a fresh install. All your programs must be reinstalled, and all data on the same drive as your operating system will be wiped out. Make a thorough backup of your important files before doing the installation.

The Windows XP Multilingual User Interface Pack is designed for multilingual work environments; it allows administrators or users to specify the language of the user interface as any of the 33 supported languages: German, French, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Hebrew, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Dutch, Brazilian, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Russian, Czech, Polish, Hungarian, Portuguese, Turkish, Greek, Slovak, Slovenian, Romanian, Croatian, Bulgarian, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, or Thai.

Installing this product requires a licence key and installation media. Within 14 days of placing your order, instructions for obtaining the licence key will be sent to your organisation's registered e-mail address and free installation media will be delivered to your organisation's registered address.
